Samsung Galaxy S21 | All you need to know about the Samsung S21
Samsung s21
- The Samsung s21 Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra recently got all the pumping,
but it's important to remember and most importantly, another flagship model
from Samsung. The latest addition to the Galaxy S line arrives just in time for
CES 2021, and as is often the case today, little is left for the imagination.
The entire lineup of Galaxy S21 phones has been leaked time and time again.
Here's
everything we know so far about the Galaxy S21 series, as we are fast
approaching the release date of January 14th.
Galaxy S21 will be revealed on January 14th
Speculation
may stop: Samsung is hosting an unfinished event on January 14th to launch the
Galaxy S21 series. The virtual event coincides with the last day of CES 2021,
although the event will focus specifically on mobile products and will be
different from other Samsung announcements at CES.
The January
14 launch comes about three weeks before the launch of the Galaxy S20 last
year. While this year's event will be hypothetical no matter what, there is really
no reason to wait for Samsung while the phones are on.
Galaxy S21 design and display
Like the
Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S21 is expected to be available in three different
models, most likely the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Of course, Samsung
has not released any official announcement yet, but we have already seen
visualizations that show what the design of the upcoming phones will look like.
Various renders show different shapes of the new phones, and the latest
SamMobile leak shows the thin tires the new devices bring.
Samsung s21
- has also seen daylight photos that show the full look of the phone. These
images show that while the phones hold the screen with an edge-to-edge hole,
they are replacing the notch on the camera with a new one that appears to be
bleeding slightly on the edge of the phone. Evan Blass has leaked all the color
options on the Galaxy S21, including the sleek new model in Gold on Violet.
The Galaxy
S21 Ultra's screen is said to be 6.8 inches high, and while some suggest it
will achieve a 144Hz refresh rate, new rumors about WinFuture suggest it will
hit a 120Hz refresh rate. Still very good. He won most of the competition. It
should offer Quad HD + resolution.
Other Galaxy
S21 devices aren't as lucky. According to another WinFuture report, both the standard
Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + will have a screen with a resolution of 2400 x
1080. Both should offer a resolution of 120Hz, but it is a bit disappointing to
note that the resolution is lower than last year if the rumor turns out to be
true.
One feature
that surprised us is that the Galaxy S21 could be compatible with Samsung S Pen
pens, just like the Galaxy Note series. The rumors come from Roh, president of
Samsung MobileTM, who hinted that we “also take into consideration people's
favorite aspects of the Galaxy Note experience and are looking forward to
adding some of their favorite features to other devices on our site. According
to WinFuture, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is compatible with a stylus. S Pen; unlike
the Galaxy Note series, it is not sold as an S Pen and has to be purchased
separately.
Galaxy S21 cameras
Samsung has
changed the aesthetics of a bunch of cameras with the Galaxy S20, pointing it
towards the upper left corner of the back of the phone, just like the camera
array from the iPhone 11 series, and hopefully this is also the basis for the
S21.
Actual
camera specifications vary slightly depending on the model. According to Evan
Blass' second leak, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will offer a quad-lens camera with two
zoom lenses. There is a 108MP main sensor, a 12MP wide camera, a 10MP telephoto
lens with 3K optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 10K optical zoom.
However, rumors suggest that the front camera housing the 40MP sensor may have
Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which would be a big step forward if it were
released.
On the one
hand, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + offer triple-lens cameras with a 12MP
main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. In
particular, the flight sensor time was available for the Galaxy S20.
Galaxy S21 specs and performance
Under the
hood, the Galaxy S21 series will probably do very well. As in previous years,
phones are expected to drop easily depending on where they are purchased.
Some rumors
suggest that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a chipset that Samsung announced,
which will be a 5nm chip that will compete with Snapdragon 888 and it could be
called Ekinos 2100. Speaking of Snapdragon 888, despite the fact that Samsung
did not appear much in reality at launch The new chipset will likely be offered
in all three US versions of the phone. Samsung's iconic IceUniverse claims the
Ekinos 2100 is able to score 690,000 points on AnTuT, which is impressive.
According to
a report by GalakiClub, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a 4885mAh battery, which
is more or less compatible with the Galaxy S20 Ultra's battery capacity. This
is also confirmed by MiFikGuide, which claims to have found the battery
capacity by matching the model number with 3C network documents for
authentication. The Dutch Galaxy Club website also claims that the phone will
get the same huge 65W charging that is currently only available on some phones
from Oppa and Xiaomi.
